LYKI — Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 15, 2026

Short version

LYKI runs on your phone. Your photos and videos stay on your phone. We don’t have a backend. We don’t upload your media anywhere. We use two services (RevenueCat for subscription billing, TelemetryDeck for anonymous usage counts) and nothing else.

Details

What LYKI accesses

Photo library (read). LYKI uses Apple’s system photo picker (PHPicker). The picker runs outside the app, and LYKI only receives the specific items you choose. LYKI never sees the rest of your library.

Photo library (write). LYKI asks for permission to save your exported reel to your camera roll. It only writes — it never reads your library using this permission.

What stays on your device

Everything you put in. Your photos, your videos, your text captions, your finished reels. LYKI does all of its composition, color grading, typography, and music mixing on-device. Nothing you drop into LYKI is uploaded to a server.

What leaves your device

Subscription status (via RevenueCat). When you purchase or restore a LYKI PRO subscription, RevenueCat handles the transaction on Apple’s behalf and reports back whether you have an active entitlement. RevenueCat’s own privacy policy is at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Anonymous usage signals (via TelemetryDeck). LYKI sends anonymous event counts (“app opened,” “vibe selected,” “export completed”) to TelemetryDeck so we can tell which parts of the app are actually used. These signals do not include your photos, your text, your identity, or any data we could link back to you. TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy is at https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy/

What we do not collect

Children

LYKI is rated 4+ and does not collect any personal information. It is suitable for all ages.

Subscriptions

LYKI PRO is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple handles the billing and your payment information — LYKI never sees your card details. You can cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will also be mentioned in the app’s “What’s New” release notes.
